New Series = New Fics/Recs. Hm… Makes me wonder if that’s going to be a new tradition from now on—that is to say: New Updates = New Series = New Fics/Recs. So what new series is it this time? Big Time Rush.

(I know, really?? Big Time Rush?) Admittedly, Season 02 already seems to be going downhill (I suppose, technically, it started mid to late Season 01) and I really miss the ‘four best friends from Minnesota’ feeling they had when the series first started out, because now it seems more like ‘four (individual) band members with separate lives.’ Nevertheless, their songs are good and the occassional moments when we see the chemistry between the quartet are to worth it. But as always, I never just bring fics and recs from one series (not anymore anyway), so here also be some awesome Harry Potter, NCIS and Psych fics/recs.

I wonder if I should just officially say that my updates come bi-annually (but I won’t since, knowing me, I’d end up not following that bi-annual update schedule anyway). Certainly seems to be the case though as it’s now nearly six months later before another update has been made to this site. But never fear! I will ne’er abandon me precious site! Because if there is one thing I can guarantee, it’s that my love for fanfiction will never die. Sure it may mellow out sometimes or perhaps even only simmer once in a while, but fanfiction to me is one those… forever things. (I’d totally marry it if it didn’t just cement my friend’s theory that I’m batshit insane. I don’t care so much about being the “batshit insane” part, but the “she being right” part? Little hard to digest. *grin*)

Insanity theories aside, you shouldn’t be suprised then that I come bearing more fics and recs! This time from fandoms that already exist here, but also new ones too! (Okay, so it’s a new one—only one, but that doesn’t make it any less better. Not at all, as a matter of fact.) The new one I’m referring to? House, M.D.

Because, holy shit, Gregory House is love.

Right next to Shawn Spencer, Burton Guster (because, dude! Who wouldn’t love Gus!), Benita Lopez (I’m so ticked that there aren’t any fanfics for George Lopez! I mean, really? Figures that when I actually did a next-day update, I wouldn’t touch the site for months (actually, I’m embarrassed to say that it’s been more than half a year… but who’s counting, eh? *sheepish grin*). But like most of my updates, I did a lot of stuff to the site (even though it may not appear to be that way). I fine-combed through the links for one and weeded out or replaced any broken links. I tweaked the layout for another. Although there isn’t too much difference, the subtleties still leave me grinning and loving the layout.

Most importantly… I’ve just found a new love: Psych. (Translation? More fics and recs. *grin*) Seriously, why did I not find out this show earlier?! Then perhaps I could have gone to Comic-Con and actually have seen the cast of Psych! *screams in frustration* Okay, frustration aside… if you’ve never heard or seen the show, go watch it. Now. Seriously. Best damn thing Ever. I guarantee you, you will pee in your pants after laughing so ridiculously hard. Okay, so having your trousers soaked in pee for any reason isn’t very attractive—but think of how you got there. Believe me, it’d be worth it. *cheeky grin*
